About

Hi, I’m Neera. I’m a psychotherapist with a deep interest in interconnected and systemic ways of understanding ourselves and our worlds. I aim to listen deeply, non-judgementally, and with curiosity to understand what’s brought you to therapy – and where you might be heading next in your life.

I hold postgraduate degrees in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as Executive Coaching & Leadership. Before working in private practice, I worked in a leading treatment centre for trauma and addiction. I’ve worked with people for decades, including extensive experience in organisational contexts, facilitating mental health, wellbeing and interpersonal skills-based programs for individuals and groups.

My clinical approach is trauma-informed and attachment based, employing mindfulness, dream work and somatic (body based) awareness, where appropriate. Drawing on these skills, I’m able to assist clients through a range of concerns, including life transition and change, grief and loss, attachment disorders, identity and personality issues, relationship issues, as well as anxiety, depression, stress and work-related concerns. I have a warm, intuitive style and integrative approach, drawing on decades of working with people.

My approach is also informed by a deep interest in meditation, the wisdom of the body, and holistic ways of knowing. Alongside my work with clients, I have a long term meditation practice, which clients may find a useful resource as we explore new strategies and ways of being to support healing and growth.
